  • Our first resort is in Crowsnest Pass Alberta. Our map can be found here and our pinned location is here. Our second resort will be in Mulhurst Bay with cottages opening in summer 2024! Pre-booking will open soon, see here for more details.

  • Calgary International Airport (2.5 Hours), Canadian Rockies International Airport (2 Hours), Lethbridge Airport (1.5 Hours) are closest to our Crownest Pass Location. Edmonton International Airport (45 minutes) or Calgary International Airport (2.5 hours) are closet to our Mulhurst Bay Location.

  • Our Crowsnest Pass resort has two separate locations, Storybook Square and Wonder Way. The two locations are a two minute drive apart or a 5 minute walk.

  • Payment in full is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.

    Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to booking date - $25 cancellation fee will be applied. Cancellations made 14 - 29 days prior to booking date - A 50% refund will be given. Cancellations made 13 days or less prior to booking date - No refund will be given.

    Early departures or no-shows will still be charged at their full rate. Cold or inclement weather will not permit a refund for cancellation.

  • Storybook Square check-in is at 2:00 pm and check-out is at 10:00 am. Wonder Way check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at noon. We currently do not offer early check-ins or late check-outs.

  • We do allow dogs at the resort. We charge a $50 dog fee and unclaimed pets are subject to a $200 fine. Dogs must be on leash and with their owner at all times outside. Please clean up any messes your dog leaves behind.

  • Yes! Our water comes from the town. We have a sink with running water in each bathroom and a water spigot outside of each cottage. We provide small bins for washing dishes at the outdoor spigot.

  • Each cottage has a firepit and wood-fired hot tub to use on site. The Crowsnest Pass is an incredible area with many outdoor adventures, such as hiking, swimming, skiing, or biking, as listed here and here

  • We have a thorough hot tub guide here. We ask that the guide is thoroughly read and understood before anyone uses the hot tub. It can take 2-3 hours to heat up so some patience and skill is required. We provide firewood for $15 per bundle but we do not provide hatchets.

  • Each cottage has enough space to add a pack n’ play.

  • We do! You can submit a quote request here.

  • Only guests are permitted at the resort unless we are hosting a special event where we will open up to the community.

  • All of the cottages are built for families with kids of all ages. We recommend preparing kids for their stay by reading age-appropriate books or watching movies together that fit the cottage’s theme. Costumes are another way to add to the excitement of their stay!

  • At this time there is not. Everything we include is listed under each cottage’s amenities. We also provide a suggested packing list in our resort guide.

  • You may bring your own firewood or purchase it from us for $15 per bundle.

  • Yes! We ask all of our guests to never leave a fire unattended and obey fire bans when they occur. More information can be found here.

  • There is always the potential for wildlife encounters at the resort. We ask that our guests never approach any wild animals and never leave food outside their cottages at night to attract animals. More information about wildlife can be found here and tick protection can be found here.

  • Yes, we are open year round. All the cottages have either an electric fireplace or a block heater to keep you cozy on cold days. The hot tubs and fire pits are available for use year round. We are located 6 minutes from Pass Powderkeg, a great hill for all ages to ski or snowboard. And a 40 minute drive to Castle Mountain or Fernie Alpine Resort.

  • The Gingerbread Cottage is wheelchair friendly. It offers a parking pad beside the cottage, roll-in shower and wheelchair-friendly beds.

  • We believe connecting with those around us and exploring the great outdoors is invaluable. For this reason, we do not have guest Wi-Fi.
